Buddha Belly

Buddha Belly
205 Broadway
Santa Monica, CA 90401

On Santa Monica Pier's 100th Anniversary, my mom and I decided to check out the Pier and 3rd Street Promenade. We also decided to grab dinner nearby. We ended up choosing a place called Buddha Belly located right next to 3rd street.

Spicy Crispy Calimari Salad
Calamari, mixed greens, red onion, glass noodles, sesame & green curry dressings
Pros: D-E-LICIOUS. Gigantic portion and very good dressing, plenty of calimari
Cons: NONE.

Spicy Tom Yom Koon Thai Ramen Noodle Soup
shrimp, thin egg noodles, lemongrass & red chili broth, tomato, straw mushrooms, cilantro, kaffir lime leaf
Wasn't recommended by Yelp but was delicious

Ahi Tuna Burger with Sweet Potato Fries
medium-rare ground sushi-grade ahi tuna patty, sweet hawaiian bun, lettuce, tomato, avocado, spicy mayo, sesame seeds, sweet potato fries
The infamous ahi tuna burger lived up to its hype. There was a little too much sauce for my liking but it was still delicious. The sweet potato fries were awesome as well

Parking: Park at any of the special parking garages on 4th street. I like to park in the one on 4th and Broadway. It's free for the first 2 hrs before 6pm and $3 after 6pm.

And that's the food lowdown.
